Booking Terms
1. Booking
- To make a booking more than 60 days prior to arrival, guests may:
- either pay the full amount discounted by 5%,
- or pay a £35 deposit with the balance due 60 days prior to arrival.
- To make a booking less than 60 days prior to arrival, guests must:
- pay the full amount.
2. Cancellation
- To cancel a booking more than 60 days prior to arrival, guests may:
- cancel and receive a full refund, subject to a £35 administration fee.
- To cancel a booking less than 60 days prior to arrival, guests may:
- cancel and receive a full refund, subject to a £100 administration fee and the difference in rates if the cottage is successfully rebooked; if we cannot successfully rebook, no refund is issued.
3. Insurance
- Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance to cover late cancellations, accidents, or unexpected incidents during their stay.
4. Check-in and Check-out
- Check-in is from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
- Check-out is by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
- Requests for early check-ins or late check-outs may be accommodated subject to availability.
5. Occupancy
- The maximum occupancy varies by cottage and is stated on the property listing.
6. Pets
- A maximum of 2 pets are allowed per cottage.
7. Guest Responsibilities
- Guests are responsible for leaving the property in the condition it was found.
- Any significant damage caused by guests beyond normal wear and tear will be charged to the guest. This includes, but is not limited to, damages to furnishings, appliances, or structural elements.
8. Force Majeure
- We are not liable for cancellations or disruptions due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government-imposed restrictions.
9. Complaints
- Guests should notify us of any issues during their stay to allow us the opportunity to resolve them promptly. Complaints made after departure may be harder to address.
